
Federico Zaragoza
Armed with 31+ years of academic and management experience, Dr. Zaragoza is a recognized expert in workforce development and international education, passionate about fostering an environment that permits students to explore, learn, grow, and excel on their journey of self-development.
A PhD in Urban Education & Administrative Leadership and an M.A. in Vocational Education. Recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award (LULAC, State of Texas), Education Brillante National Education Award (National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), Workforce Excellence Award (American Association of Community College Trustees), and Leadership in Education Award (Greater Kelly USA Development Authority) amongst others.
Recently appointed to the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education, HACU Board of Governors, and as an At-Large member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). He has also served for two terms on the U.S. Office of Education - National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI).
