Martin Vivas is a professional with more than 23 years of experience in the technology industry. Dedicated to design thinking applied to business and product strategy. He has designed learning experiences, building acceleration programs, company building and trainings, as well as hackathons and innovation challenges, throughout Latin America.
He is a strategy consultant and advisor for large companies, government entities and high-potential startups. Founder of ThinkLean Education, a training company for internet professionals. He also serves as a Google for Startups Accelerator Mentor in the areas of User eXperience Design and Product Strategy. He previously served as Google Expert in the 2015-2019 Expert Program (Product Strategy / UX & Design Sprint).
He currently serves as Director of Innovation at Technisys, a Core Bank & Digital banking services company, with offices in 9 countries and more than 50 client banks around the world. He was Director for Latin America at F6S, the world’s largest platform for entrepreneurs. He was director for 3 years for Startup Next in Buenos Aires, a program created by 3 of the world leaders in entrepreneurship, present in 30 cities around the world, for Techstars, supported by Google for Entrepreneurs.
He believes that a strong ecosystem provides more and better opportunities for everyone, which is why he actively dedicates his free time to building and helping ad honorem communities of technology professionals in more than 60 cities in 20 countries throughout the continent. He was an acceleration leader in Developing Latin America, a program for Social Startups present in 12 countries.
Coordinator of the Nuevo León 4.0 Initiative
Abraham Tijerina Priego is Founding Coordinator of the Nuevo León 4.0 Citizen Initiative. Previously, he led the Innovation Management process at Metalsa, a world leader in the manufacture of structural components for light vehicles and commercial trucks. Between 1992 and 2019, he joined Metalsa as a Technology Engineer and over the years he developed the areas of Engineering and Product Technology, as well as integration and administration activities of the portfolio of innovation projects, the process of linking and of intellectual property of the organization, the conceptualization, design and establishment of the Center for Innovation and Development of Competitive Advantages of Metalsa in Michigan (USA) and the Research and Technological Innovation Park (PIIT) of Nuevo León, both dedicated to the development of technology and innovation for components, materials and manufacturing processes for automotive structures.
Abraham Tijerina is a Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) and a Master in Mechanical Engineering with a Specialty in Design from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He has a Diploma in Senior Management from IPADE (D1) and has been a member of the American Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), of the Nuevo León Nanotechnology Cluster, of the “Industrial Research Institute ”(IRI), of the Automotive Cluster of Nuevo León (CLAUT), of the Council of the Center for Linkage and Technology Transfer (CVT) of CAINTRA and president of the international organization“ Intelligent Manufacturing System ”(IMS).
